Default SAMSUNG LW26A33WX- no backlight

Since my success with my first project (acer al2416) yesterday ive now got the solder bug, Anyhow while I was up the local dump today getting rid of a couple of dvd players I spied this samsung tft in amongst a pile of old crt tv`s, anyhow I grabbed it & got it home for my next project, seems the only problem is the inverter (DARFON 48.v1448.171/A), checked the fuses, caps etc as before & all seem fine, Then I checked the Inverter transformers & found one of them to have a dead short across pins 4&5 & signs of getting too warm so I will be replacing that, Ive found what i think is the correct one on ebay (4011A******) except they end with the letters GP whereas mine does not,Do the two letters make a difference,?
I can take some photos tomorrow if itll help.,,,,cheers.
Just to add the b/light flashes on then off.

1) Depending on what you call pin 4 and 5, it should be shorted if they are primaries. See

http://lcdparts.net/TransformerDetai...ProductID=3189

2) It should go without saying that photos ALWAYS help.

I have tried to take a photo but the lights not that good so will do them in the morning,(its 11-25pm now) Pins 4 & 5 are secondarys, the seller kindly listed the way to check the transformers & going on his info this one is definately u/s as the others checked out as they should, its just that G,P on the end of the part number im not sure about.

Okay, I see the ebay auction.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-LCD-INVERT...item3cb7491458

Pins 4 and 5 are the same as the lcdparts.net secondaries info so you should desolder that transformer and verify that it is shorted "out of circuit".

On Darfon transformers the first 5 (4?) characters are significant. For example, one I have here is 4006A508019. 508019 is some sort of a production code.

Thanks PlainBill for that info, I guessed it might be something like that due to the transformers having all different numbers after the 4011A, it was just the G,P lettering on it that i found odd as mine only has numbers,
Ive now checked the suspected unit out of circuit & it does show it shorting over the secondarys so i`ll get one bought today,,,,,,cheers.
