[Ami Sapphire]

Hey all!

I was born in Seattle, WA and raised in Detroit, MI. Known as Ami Sapphire and CW Cyrix on the Internet. I first used a computer in 1992, became interested in computers in 1994, and have worked on computers on my own free time since 2004. Worked on my home network in 2004 as well, although that expanded a bit in 2005. My soldering skills are not that great, however, I have never ruined any electronic device by doing so... yet. I only picked up soldering because Dad was doing so in the '80s and '90s. So all those skills are self-taught.

I originally was reading a post in a thread on another forum about blown capacitors on a graphics card, then I searched on Google and found this site. Learned something new about motherboards and bad capacitors. Fixed a motherboard, thanks to this site.
