Well I really want to see how my StarTAC phone works with my MobileSURFR 56K PCMCIA card (it can be connected directly to the phone) but the problem is that getting the cable is next to impossibe to find (cable #6104079500110 so you know).
I can however build my own I guess but things get nasty here too. I can only find a partial pinout on the phone. All the black StarTAC phones had the same pinout I can not find any reference or pinout for the modem card though. If I can find the pinout for that card I should be fine so long as the partial pinout on the phone has all the need pins listed. Any help guys?

Well let's see here... we know the MobileSurfr is PCMCIA Type II so maybe you can experiment with pins.
The phone has: 3 DSC 4 Downlink (Rx) 5 Uplink (Tx) 6 GND 7 Audio out Then you have CardBus.

???
How does that translate to which pins are needed on the card's dongle socket? |
