hey look at that. http://www.beam-tech.com/093001/prd_...ternal_ups.htm also available here as "Micro PC" UPS. Theres gotta be some stuff missing to fit it all in that small a box. Like some decent batteries for instance...... |

Specs says that the better models have NiMH batteries.
There is a better thing - PSU with integrated UPS. Hopefully some of them can run the computer directly from the battery without DC->AC->DC conversion. |

If those are any good, I am so buying one for my computer at work... But how the hell can it power anything but a small OEM PC with those little batteries??

I would only expect something of decent quality it it needed two drive bays (full height, right?) and a more user-friendly front panel like the one on my NEXXTECH UPS.
