i am sorry, my mistake the voltages on Q6002 are 19V on one side and 0.54 on other side. Sorry

      No problem.

      Measure U6000 PIN: 3, 4, 10, 19, 22, 24.

      Measure R6005 resistance.

      Battery ON/OFF.

        Pin 3: 16.8V
        Pin 4: 17.8V
        Pin10: 18.6V
        Pin19: 18.3V
        Pin22: 17.9V
        Pin24: 18.9V

Value are the same with battery and without battery.

Ok. I have to check those values.

PIN24 looks high I think it should be 0V/3V. This Enable/Disable chargin.

Measure those same PIN AC OFF.

Pin 10 should be 0V when AC ON.

If PIN10 not change when AC ON/OFF U6000 not notice AC Adapter.

i try measure only with battery, and i got 0V on all PIN. I check battery and it is 0V, so battery is dead.

And i check again PIN10 is 18.6V with AC.

Been reading up on these since I may get a dead board to play around with myself - it seems replacing U6000 very often fixes the problem.

                  Re: Toshiba Satellite L655 (HannStar J MV-4 94V-0)

I would check D6000, C6023, R6013, R6012, C6028, R6005, R6016, check for correct values, open or shorted components. also make sure L6000 is not grounded.
If all checks ok and you find no grounded areas that shouldn't be, remove U6000 and test the relevant input/output pins without the IC to rule out a damaged U6000. post your results.

ahh, i made mistake. I give you wrong readings (my stupid multimeter) sorry.

                    correct one are:

                    Pin3: 2.32V
                    Pin4: 1.35V
                    Pin10: 1.15V
                    Pin19: 1.06V
                    Pin22: 1.37V
                    Pin24: 0.4V

this is only with AC on, no baterry. But i try plug in the battery nothing have change in values.

I found that R6016 is 2.2kOhm and i think it should be 10 Ohm, it has markings 100 or 180 or 130 (cannot be sure).

D6005 sohuld also have 19V at pin 3, if not, it is open and should be replaced.

Are we looking at the correct schematic? if so where is the rest? it sounds like you need QUANTA BL7. you can get proper values from schematic.
New readings change things. measure resistance to ground on U6000 pins 3,4,10,19,24,22 post results.

If those are corretly measured values.

                              PIN3 should be 19V.

                              If PIN3 = 2.32V U6000 not works.

Follow Techie666 advice, and after that measure R6016 PIN1,2.

                                Re: Toshiba Satellite L655 (HannStar J MV-4 94V-0)

i put back the old U6000 (maybe i mess the new one when i was soldering on board)

So i put the old one and i got 4.6V on PIN3

I check the R6016 and i get on one side 19V and other side 4.6V. So i am guessing that this resistor is preventing 19V to come on U6000 PIN 3.

I also measure the resistor of U6000 (the one that is right now on board)

                                PIN3: 41.3k Ohm
                                PIN4: 445k Ohm
                                PIN10: 8M Ohm
                                PIN19: 4k Ohm
                                PIN22: 430k Ohm
                                PIN24: 21k Ohm

Remove R6016 and measure resistance should be 10 ohm.

U6000 chip has not short circuit.

There is no CPU or other voltages before U6000 works or using Battery.
