AWA DM726 DVD/TV mini system - bad KSD units

Upon opening an AWA DM726 DVD/TV mini system, I found that C320 and C321 (before +5V standby regulator) and C358 (+5V) were bulging.
I replaced these capacitors to see if the unit would play a DVD (the DVD lasers seem to be more prone to failure than the CD lasers).
Having confirmed that the DVD laser was OK, I also replaced C307, C308, C315, C313, C316, C357, C358, C360, C365, C359, C364, C322 and C303, most of which were KSD brand units, with a few being Fullcon units.

The unit now works perfectly .
My first choice in quality Japanese electrolytics is Nippon Chemi-Con, which has been in business since 1931... the quality of electronics is dependent on the quality of the electrolytics.
