yes.

btw, clean the tips before you turn the iron off to make them last.
it's leaving solder on them that does them in because of the flux.

probably fake,
but dont worry about it.
that design of tip that fits inside the element is very good unlike the old hakko design that slots over the element.

some irons from Hakko and JBC for example have optional special stands.
the stand plugs into the controller, the iron plugs into the stand.
some stands have a microwsitch on them, some just detect...

how about using a gas bottle? those are built to handle MUCH higher pressures.
i'm not talking about the home propane type btw, i mean the ones used for welding etc.

meter q850 just to be sure, you can do it on the board usually.

if the rectifier is bad, you may be lucky and not have any other problems.
dont forget to get the right type of fuse.

check for shorts between any of the legs on d850 and q850

and be carefull about your new fuse not touching that metal plate on it's left.

no polarity, it's an ac fan.

it will get hot, look at the design.
you have a constantly powered coil on a core that goes around the motor shaft.

i imagine it uses the flow from the fan across...

you can hook it to the mains for a test - watch your fingers with mains fans as they have high-torque.
