by Dr.dI have a lenovo ideapad 5 14itl05, board LA-K321P, That will only power up on Battery only, or with battery disconnected and power adapter only. If battery is connected and usb-c power plug connected. It only works on battery and will not charge. I can however force it to charge by connecting the battery from a disconnected state while the power USB c plug is powering the laptop.
Additionally....to add to this strange situation. The usb-c power plug ONLY works to power the laptop on one side when inserted into the boards power usb c plug. If you rotate it 180 degrees, the board gets...04-05-2024, 11:48 AM -
by JasonC89So I have an Macbook Pro that came in for no power (I dont do a lot og Macbook repairs). After some testing I found it was only getting 5V with very little current draw, if any.
I searched around for shorts, and didnt find any. No real signs of liquid damage etc.
Following a couple of questions from other members here I was able to further test voltages etc. Im now at a point where PP3V3_G3H is showing, but only at 2.23V.
I have 5v on the Enable pin.
Also the dual diode D6902 is showing :
5.19V @ Pin 1
0v @ Pin 2
4.15V @ Pin 3

by tec3000Hi community! Germany calling I am wondering if you guys can help me out. I have an issue with my Sony LED TV. I've been told this is a good place to ask. Thanks for anyone who will reply and offer advice. Appreciated!
I have a KD-65X9005A Sony 4k LED TV. For a few weeks I've got this problem where I turn on the TV and within a few seconds the TV starts getting darker until it shuts itself off and I get the 4 blinking error code. HOWEVER there is one exception: Whenever I switch to the i-Manual, a full screen on-screen instruction manual, the TV never turns off. I tested for hours!...03-20-2024, 07:29 AM -

Following problem regarding a Quest 2 I got with broken USB port and "not turning on".
After replacing the USB/Audio port + cable the Device still refuses to turn on. A USB multimeter is showing a pulsing amp draw ranging from 70 mA to 1.2 A and back.
All obvious caps measured good (no short).
A visual thermal inspection showed two ICs glowing up also pulsing.
One was a Qualcomm PMIC PM8150B which I suspected to be the culprit. But replacing it with a china-replacement made no difference.
The other one I can't identify. It looks like...1 PhotoToday, 03:08 PM -

by EazyBoneAnother eazybone post took on this OLED now.
Symptoms. Hit power, white light shows briefly and then 5 blink red code. TCON issue per chart on first picture.
I'm thinking I have a power board issue though, which is one of the options
Now to check pin voltages from PSU to main and PSU to tcon
Pic 2
1 tcon on 12 -- 0v (when I hit power this goes to 3.1 stays for short time and back to zero)
2 bl err -- 0.16
3 evdd on --0
4. Ac off det 3.187
5 power on -- 3.362 BUT fluctuating randomly to 3.352

by Johnny hHello,
I'm hoping someone can assist me.
I have an Asus Vivobook 16x Pro OLED laptop which has a BIOS password, and I can't seem to find it.
It still boots into Windows (boots from whatever SSD is installed but not from USB).
The model number is M7600R and serial number is N8N0CX03H71131C.
I tried AMITSESetup Decryptor but the password I got doesn't make sense (it's got a line break and special characters).
I also tried to use *************** MOD EDIT ,redacted************** and it also gave me the funny password of
[CODE]tmNx\'=QJQ...-
